Faye Armitage (D) For Congress
District 7
Faye,
as a former professor of economics, has lived in the
three major metropolitan areas of Florida since
1994: the Greater Tampa Bay area, the Greater
Orlando area and the Greater Jacksonville/St
Augustine area. She is the mother of five children,
with one grandchild and a second grandchild on the
way. Her son-in-law is in the United States Army.
Prior to moving to Florida,
Faye
lived in California where she was employed in the
healthcare industry.
Faye
is best known for her national stem cell research
activism, but her interests extend to ending the
Iraq occupation, fighting for a universal healthcare
system, ensuring veterans benefits, and
environmental issues related to global warming,
illegal immigration, the growing US debt and trade
deficits and the expenditures of trillions of
dollars on wars that benefit non-American
corporations instead of American jobs and
infrastructure.

Clyde Malloy (D) For Congress District 7
I'm Clyde Malloy and I am running to represent you in the United States
House of Representatives from Florida's 7th District because I am deeply
concerned about our future. 25 years of conservative rule have weakened
our society and threatened our common purpose of building a better,
fairer world for our children. I am running for office because our
government is broken. It has turned away from the values that made
America great; values like justice, opportunity, community and the sense
of responsibility that we feel for one another as Americans. Corporate
interests have diverted our public life from the pursuit of these
values. We can reverse course and restore these values to our public
life, but the challenge begins with you. I urge you to get involved, to
make a generous contribution to our common cause, and to send us your
suggestions |

Clint Curtis (D) For Congress District 24
Clint Curtis was born in rural Salem, Illinois in 1958. Growing up in a
small town, he was instilled with small town values of doing what’s
right for your fellow man and to be involved in the community. Clint
sees himself as much a Floridian as a resident of Illinois. He split his
time growing up living with his father in Bradenton Beach Florida during
the summers and enjoying the simple farm life of his grandparents who
raised him during the winter. He still believes that doing the right
thing is more important than making a profit and that love of country
comes before personal considerations. Gifted with a quick and facile
mind, Clint has always excelled in academics. While at Illinois Wesleyan
University, Clint's grandparents and father passed away. Needing to
juggle both a full time job and his studies to put himself through
school, he transferred to Illinois State University to take advantage of
a more flexible schedule. |
